Youth Ministries

Youth Group

Grades 9 - 12 at the First Lutheran gym
Wednesdays, 7:00-8:30 pm during the school year

Confirmation - Junior High Bible Study

Grades 6 - 8 in the North Campus Conference Room
Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30 pm during the school year.

Pastor Erick leads our Middle School students through an intense study of the Bible, focusing on Bible memory verses centered around the Ten Commandments, the Lord's Prayer and the Apostle's Creed.

Children's Ministries

Nursery & Toddlers

Infants - 3 years

Our nursery and toddler ministry serves children ages newborn through 3 years old. The littlest of VCC will hear foundational Bible stories, learn simple truth statements, and memorize scriptures as they form their language skills. During this time, teachers and helpers will specifically pray for each child. It is our vision that this ministry will be a launching pad for nurturing the faith of the next generation.

Sunday School I

4 years - 2nd Grade

Students are invited to join their families in the worship service during singing and morning scripture reading and prayer. Students will then be dismissed to their own service where they will learn about the character and acts of Jesus Christ from the Word of God.

Sunday School II

3rd - 5th grade

Students are invited to join their families in the worship service during singing and morning scripture reading and prayer. Students will then be dismissed to their own service where they will learn about the attributes of God from the Bible.

Adult Sunday School

Sunday Mornings: 9:00 - 107:00 a.m. in the First Lutheran Conference Room.

Current Study: "Shepherding A Child's Heart: A Course In Parenting"
Taught by Pastor Erick Sorensen.

Tabletalk - Growing In Christ

Taught by Scot Sorensen and Ben Breslin. Tuesday Evenings at 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the North Campus Kitchen.
Currently studying "A Study of Deuteronomy."

Women's Ministry

Thursday Evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Nancy Sorensen
Led by Melissa Sorensen
Current Study: "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper

MidWeek Prayer

Thursdays 7:00 - 8:00 pm in the North Campus office.

We want to be faithful in prayer as we try to be faithful to the ministry opportunities God has give us to do in His Kingdom. God has been answering our prayers in amazing ways!
